Barn conversion outside Truro

The previous, almost non-existent garden had no depth of soil and was crudely divided with a solid fence from the farmyard entrance. The brief was to turn the area into a private area but with an open structure separating it from the drive. The whole area is an intricate layout of raised beds with soft and flowing planting including various grasses, wafting flowers and many climbers all planted to deflect views through. A sunny terrace adjoins the house and a tiny decorative water feature trickles in one of the beds.
