Barn conversion outside Truro
The garden to the rear of this beautiful barn conversion had been a farmyard and was surrounded by old crumbling stone walls. On different levels, it had been divided into three areas but with little or overgrown planting. A very keen gardener, the client loves plants and colour and wanted an intensively planted traditional garden in keeping with the country views. There are four colour themed areas: a white garden around the large raised pond outside the kitchen; a pale pink, blue and white double herbaceous border; a magenta, maroon and lime border at the top of the garden and a formal garden at the front of the house with narrow borders against the house walls in blue, yellow and white.
